This Day of September 28th, 2018...
We
formally institute the Wood County Literary Gazette (WCLG).
At
the said initiation, we also introduce our first official charter members into
our newly-formed WCLG.
We also establish the officers who will run WCLG meetings.
The WCLG President, has three jobs: 1)call meetings to order, 2) read the roll call, 3)and order the meetings.

The WCLG Vice-President, has one job: stand in for the president if
he/she is not available.
The WCLG Editor, has two jobs: 1) compiling the works of
individual authors, and 2) drawing up the newspaper that contains the said
works.
The WCLG Secretary has two jobs: 1)keep track of the minutes, and 2) keeping these minutes organized and archived properly.

All offices shall be voted on at the beginning of each school year.
Whoever
wishes to be nominated for President, Vice-President, Secretary, or Editor shall send a
notice to Editor, in the last publication of the month, which notice shall be published in the last publication of
the newspaper. The nominees will be read aloud at the meeting, and next year's officers will be voted on at the said meeting.
The
WCLG shall meet once every month and at the said meeting the monthly
news-letter, compiled from the works and contributions of each individual member, shall be read aloud. Each member shall read aloud his own contributions (unless they request otherwise); any
anonymous contributions, letters to the editor, or letters from the editor will
read by the said editor.
If
the said charter must needs be amended in future meetings, the said charter may
be amended by a majority vote of 80%.
These
are the rules of the Wood County Literary Gazette set in place on Sep. 28th,
2018.
